A place to grow, share, and flourish — together.
A community run, edible garden, with something for everyone.
The Henley Brook Community Orchard is a community group for local residents of the Henley Brook Private Estate. We bring people together in a spirit of shared experiences and food security, connecting with others and creating deep bonds within the neighbourhood to build a thriving community.
Our community garden is a place for all people in the community, not just gardeners. It's somewhere to learn seasonal growing, sustainable practices, and to flourish from the fruits of what we grow together — the produce and knowledge of Henley Brook Community Orchard is grown by, and freely shared with, the people of Henley Brook, in this generation and in those that follow.
More than a harvest — a community grown and shared freely.
Grow together
Seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs cared for by hands across the whole community — learning as we go, and growing food security and shared knowledge for the people of Henley Brook, one season at a time.
Connect & belong
Working bees, seed swaps, and harvest days bring neighbours together over soil, seedlings, and shared meals. A sense of belonging grows here as surely as anything we plant. The orchard is the meeting place.
Share the harvest
Herbs and leafy greens are there to be harvested freely and often — that's what keeps them growing. On harvest days, the season's fruits and vegetables join them too. No buying, no questions.
